ABOUT Tristian ODCD

Howdy… My name is Tristian – a former Police Officer, with accolades for bravery, and someone who's genuinely passionate about making a positive impact on people… young, old and all in-between. As well as our uniformed services.

Growing up in Edmonton, North London, I saw the challenges that today's youth face up close. That, along with my frontline work as a Police Constable, responding to 999 emergency calls and providing guidance and mentorship, to some of the most vulnerable and at risk young people, as part of the Child Criminal Exploitation Team, gives me a unique perspective when it comes to speaking about the tough issues – in a way that's not just informative, but relatable.

PHILOSOPHY

“Some doors close to protect you. Others to redirect you. But the ones that matter—are the ones you learn to open not just for yourself, but for the next generation.”

I believe our past doesn’t define us—it refines us. Every mistake, every setback, every locked door is an invitation: to grow, to choose differently, and to lead with purpose.

I was once on the wrong side of the system. Now I work inside it—not to punish, but to protect. Not to hold authority—but to hold space for those still searching for theirs.

My purpose is simple:
🔑 To be the door I once needed.
🔑 To be the voice I once didn’t hear.
🔑 To be the bridge between what was and what could be.

This isn’t just about second chances.
It’s about building first belief—for people who’ve never had either.

What to expect

My talks aren't lectures – they're real, straight-up conversations.

I speak from experience, with honesty, and challenge young people to think differently, question what they believe, take accountability and make better choices.
